Live at The Storefront: Jamal Guichon Elephant Graveyard

What's better than a 5-7 minute stand up set from Jamal Guichon?.. 30 minutes of Jamal Guichon!

Although originally from Chicago, comedian Jamal Guichon spent most of his meaningful years in Colorado, where he began his comedy career. After growing up a black nerd with a strict father and white step-mom, Jamal became a young father, Air Force Vet and two-time divorcee all before the age of 30. With lots of adventures and mishaps in between.

His distinct brand of comedy, unique life experiences and knack for story telling has made him one of Chicago’s fastest rising comedians. You will often find him around town reflecting on his life as an Air Force Vet, “re-formed” fuck boy and father to ungrateful children.

The night will include featured sets by Hari RaoAsha WardJessica Mance, and your host Carly Kane!!!

Live At The Storefront: Joe Kilgallon Listen Up

Joe Kilgallon is a comedian, actor, writer, and former little league all-star. Kilgallon started his stand-up comedy career after reading that most presidential candidates had more than 38 credit hours from a Junior College and came to the hard truth that a run for the White House was a long shot at best.

Described by the Chicago Tribune as having "a straight shooting, pull-no-punches style", Joe has performed at clubs and colleges all over America. He's been a personal opener for stars such as Hannibal Buress, Roy Wood Jr and Steve Byrne. With material ranging from alcohol to sex, Kilgallon is sure to rant about something the whole family can enjoy.

After only a few short months in LA, he became one of the quickest comedians to get passed at the world famous Laugh Factory in Hollywood. Kilgallon has appeared on NBC Sports and TBS. His debut album, Pay Attention, opened #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and Top 10 on the Billboard Comedy Charts. Joe also produces Comedians You Should Know LA, a weekly stand-up showcase blending the best of LA’s club and alt scenes every Thursday night at the Improv Lab in West Hollywood! Joe has also taken his love for sports and turned it into a hit podcast called Comedians Talking Sports. In the mean time you can follow Joe on Instagram where he constantly posts pictures displaying how cute he used to be. Watch Joe this spring on NBC's Chicago Med!

Kelly's story is a bit....touchy. She has generalized anxiety. She's also, inconveniently, in show business. Kelly's career has journeyed from community theatre to college to the real world. A Touchy Subject takes you through Kelly's transition from girl to woman in the entertainment industry, where her future depends more on her looks and popularity than her talent. Digging through the deep corners of her past, Kelly will share the darkest and admittedly most humorous truth of the lessons she's learned.
